A Remarkable Success

The inaugural fundraising golf tournament for Contemporary Chinese School of Arizona (CCSA) was held at the beautiful Foothills Golf Course in Phoenix on December 9, 2006. The perfect weather condition and the first-class course setting was an ideal combination for the successful event. As a first fundraising event in CCSA’s 10½ -year history, the tournament attracted nearly 70 golf enthusiasts from a diverse ethnic background across the entire valley. The out-pouring support from local community leaders, various sponsors and many individuals was overwhelming. The four-person best-ball scramble tournament format turned the golf game into a fantastic team sport with great fun. Everyone enjoyed the game, the teamwork, the laughter and the friendship.
