Description


 

This course will provide student with skill building on basic operation within

number 0 to 100. With supplemental materials provided, it is aimed to help student to

begin developing critical thinking with understanding of the numbers, patterns and

problem-solving strategy and applications.


Grading


 

Homework 50 % - Each day one exercise from the work book

(primarily), five days a week with additional hand-out, if any. HW is

turned in at beginning of each class, graded during the class time

by teacher aide and returned to student at end of the class.

5-minute Quiz 10 % - At begging of each class

Mid-Term and Final Exam 40 %


Parent Guide


 

Make your child learning time secure and happy. Give your child

undivided attention if clear direction needed during HW time.

Support your child’s effort to move beyond what he or she can

already accomplish but not to the point of frustration. Leave your

child eager to do more. Overall help in developing of your child’s

interest in Math is significant.
