On 07/13/2009 - Lijing Liu, 21, was at home last month when she collapsed from the later diagnosed Intracranial hemorrhage. She was rushed to the nearby Arlington Memorial Hospital, where a scan of her brain showed a large clot that had broken off from a damaged blood vessel at the base of her skull, blocking a major artery. And if it had been left untreated, the brain tissue would have died, affecting her memory, movement and speech and possibly even killing her. Lijing's situation is so server that the hospital has to transfer her to the Fort Worth Harris Methodist Hospital for further surgeries. Then the doctors in Fort Worth Harris Methodist Hospital have operated craniotomy to remove the clot inside her brain. But there is still another 2*5cm blood clot left in the left half part of her brain, which the doctors expected herself to absorb. And after the long procedure, doctors use certain local anesthetic to help her to recover from the trauma.

....

On 09/03/2009 - The crania operation is sucessful. Lijing liu has more facial expression and rejection feedback without breathing machine. After rediscussion, doctors decide to continue the treatmnt, which is a good news for all of us.
