    General Policies

Registration Period: Pre-registration period for future school semester consists of the last three school days of each regular semester and last school day of the summer session. Registration period for current semester consists of the first two school days of a regular semester and the first school day of the summer session.

Class size: Minimum of 10 students and maximum of 24 students for a Chinese class. Minimum of 7 students and maximum of 24 students for Math/English/SAT classes. Minimum of 7 students for Extra-curriculum/Adult classes, and the maximum is determined separately based on the nature of the class.

Enrollment Priority: Enrollment in a class is in general on the first-come first-serve base. Students who do not take Chinese class may enroll in a Math/English/SAT/Extra-curriculum class if the class is open. A waiting list is available.

Class Placement: The placement of a student is based on the student’s level, not their age. The teacher of a class may determine if a student is at the right level. An adjustment of the student’s class level may be required.

Change in Class Enrollment: Any change in class enrollment after the registration period of the semester must be approved by the principal and must complete the enrollment document procedure with the vice-principal, which includes verification of original enrollment record, making changes in the enrollment database and making payment adjustment. Students must have the vice-principal's signature to go to his/her new class.

Students must have the vice-principal's signature for applicable tuition refund.
