David Reed’s bio:
David began his Boy Scouts of America (B.S.A.) adventure in 1971 as a Tenderfoot Scout and earned Boy Scout’s highest rank in 1976 – the rank of Eagle. David was also a Troop 328 Assistant Scout Master in Allen, Texas for seven years. He is now on the Circle 10 Council Executive Board representing Texas Instruments.
Scouting made an impact on his life and the success he has at Texas Instruments. Scouting gave him the strength and confidence to face challenges early in life. The achievement of Eagle taught him quickly the benefit of hard work and service to others. The achievement of Eagle Scout started a path that still continues to this day. The path to Eagle never ends.
David is living his life under two important beliefs - His belief in God and the promises he made in the Scout Oath. These beliefs guided him throughout his personal and private life. David’s career at Texas Instruments benefitted from his Boy Scout experience in leadership, giving one’s self in service of others, and doing what is right. Currently, David leads Texas Instruments’ Packaging, QRA, and CQE operations supporting company’s world wide business and TMG operations.
